Ans: Anne’s diary is a mix up of a diary and a journal. She uses her own style while making entries in her diary. Originally it was written in Dutch. It is different because she has not used the diary format.

Ans: Anne feels a need to give a brief sketch of her life because no one would understand a word of her stories to kitty. She treated ‘ kitty’ as an insider.

Ans: Anne feels that her father was the most adorable father in the world. She had great love for her grandmother and the same love to Mrs. Kuperus. But she terms Mr. Keesing, the maths teacher ‘an old fogey’ though she had regards for him.

Ans: In her first essay Anne writes that talking is a student’s trait. She will try her best to talk less but it will not be possible because she has inherited this quality from her another.

Ans: Of course, Mr. Keesing is unpredictable. He gives Anne home assignment one after another. But at least he allows Anne to talk in the class.

It was about a father Swan who killed his three ducklings because they quacked much. Anne made the joke her on teacher meaning him to be the father Swan.

Ans : Fortunately, Mr. Keesing took the joke the right way. He read the poem to the class adding his own comments. He also read it in several classes. And Anne was allowed to talk. No extra assignment was imposed upon her. Mr. Keeping used to make jokes thereafter.
